Prescott Bush (May 15, 1895 – October 8, 1972) was an American banker and politician who served as a U.S. Senator from Connecticut from 1952 to 1963. He was the father of former President George H.W. Bush and grandfather of former President George W. Bush, establishing one of America's most influential political dynasties. Before entering politics, Bush worked as a banker on Wall Street, gaining significant financial expertise.
