Hank Stram (January 3, 1923 – July 4, 2005) was an American professional football coach best known for his tenure as head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. He led the Chiefs to victory in Super Bowl IV in 1970, becoming the first coach from the American Football League (AFL) to win a Super Bowl. Stram was renowned for his innovative offensive strategies and distinctive coaching style, often considered a pioneer of modern football offense. Over his 20-year coaching career, he won three AFL Coach of the Year awards and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
