Shoghi Effendi, whose original name was Ruhu'llah Muhajir al-Majd, was the ninth spiritual leader of the Baha'i Faith. Born on March 1, 1897, and passing away on November 4, 1957, he led the rapid expansion of the Baha'i Faith during his tenure.
