Steven Gerrard (born May 30, 1980) is an English former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of his generation, he spent almost his entire career at Liverpool, where he served as captain. Known for his passing, long-range shooting, and leadership, he led Liverpool to victory in the 2005 UEFA Champions League final. Gerrard also earned 114 caps for England, representing his country in multiple major tournaments. After retiring, he managed Rangers and Aston Villa. more
