He is known for his research on ancient African civilizations and his advocacy for an Afrocentric perspective in historical studies. Rashidi has written several books, including 'Introduction to the Study of African History' and 'The Global African,' and has lectured extensively across continents. His work challenges Eurocentric historical narratives and seeks to restore the historical dignity of Africa and its diaspora.
