“Naskar Accord
(The Sonnet)
Nationality is a right,
Nationalism is not.
Religion is a right,
Fundamentalism is not.
Doubts are a right,
Conspiracy is not.
Ignorance is a right,
Superstition is not.
Belief is a right,
Hate is not.
Fiction is a right,
Prejudice is not.
Heritage is a right,
Division is not.
Tradition is a right,
Discrimination is not.”

“Beyond Borders and Dogma
(Sonnet 1590)
Monkeys obsess over chunks of land,
takes a human to home the world.
Leeches obsess over guns and badges,
takes a human to deck the halls.
Beyond borders and dogma,
beyond division and doctrine,
beyond malignant maleficence,
everyone is my kith and kin.
Any ape can boast about their culture,
I'll die roaring for every culture
on earth, except my own.
Monkeys obsess over chunks of land,
I stand guard till all are one.
Nationalists mark borders by raising guns,
like dogs mark their territory by raising legs.
Monkeys seek refuge in archaic sovereignty,
Human am I, my refuge is the human race.”

“Diversity is the presence of 'us',
Inclusion is celebration of 'us'.
Tradition is the worship of past,
Evolution is the celebration of 'us'.”

“There is light beyond the wall,
there is sky beyond the ceiling.
Walls broken is world awakened,
Ceiling breaking is sky awakening.”

“The Press. -- If we consider how even to-day all great political transactions glide upon the stage secretly and stealthily; how they are hidden by unimportant events, and seem small when close at hand; how they only show their far-reaching effect, and leave the soil still quaking, long after they have taken place; -- what significance can we attach to the Press in its present position, with its daily expenditure of lung-power in order to bawl, to deafen, to excite, to terrify? Is it anything more than an everlasting false alarm, which tries to lead our ears and our wits into a false direction?”

“Apartheid Sonnet
Integration 101: I don't exist,
that's my law of integration.
Had I not told you my name,
it'd be impossible for you
to know my culture and nation.
Any ape can boast about its culture,
I'll die roaring for all but my own.
I am local of a borderblind world,
something illegible to the cavegrown.
Borders are glorified apartheid,
Passports are glorified bus pass.
No peace can ever come to light,
from the doings of apartheid heart.
Latinos regard me as latino,
Americans reckon I'm american,
Muslims consider me a muslim,
that's how I've lived as a human.”
