Casey Spooner (born February 2, 1970) is an American musician and performance artist, best known as the lead vocalist and co-founder of the experimental electronic band Fischerspooner. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he studied performance art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago before forming Fischerspooner with Warren Fischer in 1998. The band gained international fame with their debut album '#1' and its hit single 'Emerge,' known for theatrical live shows blending music, dance, and visual art. Spooner's work explores themes of identity, technology, and consumer culture. He has also ventured into theater, film, and fashion, collaborating with artists and designers. “I've always loved to sing with somewhat vague lyrics so people can have their own interpretation and find their own meaning with it.
