Sondra Horton Fraleigh
Sondra Horton Fraleigh (born 1939) is an American dance scholar, author, and educator known for her pioneering work in dance philosophy, dance therapy, and mind-body integration. She was a professor at SUNY Brockport and founded the East-West Dance and Movement Therapy Association. Her books, such as 'Dance and the Lived Body' and 'Dance and the Soul,' have profoundly influenced dance theory, education, and therapy, emphasizing dance as a unified expression of body and mind.
