
Reginald Maudling
Reginald Maudling was a distinguished British politician and economist. He served as the Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1955 to 1959 and played a pivotal role in post-war economic policy. Born on March 7, 1917, in London, Maudling attended the City of London School and the London School of Economics before entering politics in the 1940s. His tenure as Chancellor was marked by efforts to stabilize the British economy and control inflation, including the implementation of the Maudling Plan. Maudling passed away on February 14, 1979.
