
Lee De Forest
Lee De Forest was an American inventor and engineer renowned for his contributions to radio and television technology. Born on August 26, 1873, in Indiana, he attended the University of Michigan and later worked for companies such as Western Electric and AT&T. His most significant invention was the Audion tube, a vacuum tube that played a pivotal role in the advancement of radio and television. De Forest also developed the triode and was involved in the early stages of television technology. He passed away on June 30, 1961.
