
Abdus Salam
Abdus Salam, born on January 29, 1926 and died on November 21, 1996, was a renowned Pakistani physicist. He is best known for his contributions to the field of particle physics, particularly his research on weak interactions. Salam, along with Steven Weinberg, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1979 for their work on the electroweak unification theory.
