
Muammar al-Gaddafi
Muammar al-Gaddafi, born on June 7, 1942, was the former Prime Minister of Libya. He led a military coup in 1969, overthrowing King Idris and becoming the highest leader of Libya. During his rule, Gaddafi implemented a series of social and economic reforms, but also faced criticism from the international community. In 2011, amid the Libyan civil war, Gaddafi was overthrown and subsequently killed on October 20.
