Fulton Oursler was an American journalist, author, and screenwriter known for his work in the early 20th century. He made significant contributions to journalism and film, and his work has had a lasting impact on both industries. Born on January 22, 1893, in Canton, Ohio, Oursler attended the University of Michigan and began his career in journalism. He worked for various newspapers and magazines, including the New York Evening Post and the Saturday Evening Post, and won the Pulitzer Prize for his war correspondence. Oursler also authored several successful books and was involved in screenwriting for films, most notably 'The Greatest Show on Earth'. He passed away on May 24, 1952.
