Bugsy Siegel, born as Benjamin Siegel, was a prominent American mobster in the 20th century. He was born on February 28, 1906, and died on June 20, 1947. He played a significant role in the development of Las Vegas casinos and is considered one of the founders of modern Las Vegas entertainment.
