Cao Cao, known as Mengde, was a prominent politician, military strategist, and litterateur during the late Eastern Han Dynasty. Born in 155 and died on March 15, 220. Cao Cao rose to prominence in the Three Kingdoms period, becoming a major figure in the tripartite struggle for power and laying the foundation for the formation of the Three Kingdoms era.
