Casey Spooner (born February 2, 1970) is an American musician and performance artist, best known as the lead vocalist and co-founder of the experimental electronic band Fischerspooner. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he studied performance art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago before forming Fischerspooner with Warren Fischer in 1998. The band gained international fame with their debut album '#1' and its hit single 'Emerge,' known for theatrical live shows blending music, dance, and visual art. Spooner's work explores themes of identity, technology, and consumer culture. He has also ventured into theater, film, and fashion, collaborating with artists and designers. Active in New York and Berlin art scenes, he continues to push boundaries in electronic music and performance.
