Charles Curtis (January 25, 1860 - February 8, 1936) was an American politician who served as the Vice President of the United States. Born in Kansas, he was a lawyer and politician who had a long career in American politics, serving as the Governor of Kansas and as Vice President under President Herbert Hoover from 1933 to 1934.
