Coventry Patmore was an English poet known for his romantic and philosophical works. Born on July 23, 1823, he spent much of his life in London, where he worked as a civil servant. Patmore's poetry often explored themes of love, nature, and the human condition, and he is best remembered for his epic poem 'The Angel in the House'. He passed away on November 26, 1896.
