Dale Earnhardt Jr., born October 10, 1974, in Kannapolis, North Carolina, is a retired American professional stock car racing driver and one of NASCAR's most popular figures. Known as "Junior" by fans, he is the son of seven-time NASCAR champion Dale Earnhardt Sr. He won two NASCAR Xfinity Series championships in 2004 and 2009, and accumulated 26 career victories across NASCAR's top two series. After retiring from full-time racing in 2017, he transitioned to broadcasting and operates JR Motorsports, continuing his legacy in the sport.
