
Ho Chi Minh
Ho Chi Minh, born Nguyen Binh Khiem, was a great Vietnamese politician, military leader, and diplomat. He was the founder and leader of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Born on May 19, 1890, in a rural family in northern Vietnam, he passed away on September 2, 1969, in Hanoi. Ho Chi Minh was one of the founders of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the outstanding leader of the Vietnamese national liberation movement. He led the Vietnamese people in a 30-year-long war of national liberation, ultimately achieving the independence and reunification of the country.
