
Benjamin Rudyerd
Benjamin Rudyerd (1572 - May 31, 1658) was an English poet during the Renaissance period. He lived through the reigns of Elizabeth I, James I, and Charles I, becoming a significant figure in early 17th-century English literature. Rudyerd was renowned for his elegant poetic style and masterful command of verse, particularly in elegies and occasional poems. He served in the royal court and associated with other prominent poets of his time.
