Emilia Fox (born July 31, 1974) is a British actress best known for her role as Dr. Nikki Alexander in the long-running BBC crime drama 'Silent Witness'. Born into an acting family, she is the daughter of actors Edward Fox and Joanna David. Fox studied English at Oxford University before pursuing acting. She gained early recognition for her role as Georgiana Darcy in the 1995 TV adaptation of 'Pride and Prejudice' and appeared in Roman Polanski's Oscar-winning film 'The Pianist' (2002). Since 2004, she has been a central cast member of 'Silent Witness', earning critical acclaim for her portrayal of a forensic pathologist.
