Grace Meng is a United States Representative representing New York's 6th Congressional District. Born on October 1, 1975, she grew up in New York City. Meng graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and earned her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law. As the first female Chinese American member of Congress and the first Chinese American woman born in New York City to serve in Congress, she actively participates in various issues in Congress, including immigration reform, economic opportunities, and community development.
