Grigory Zinoviev was a Russian politician and one of the early leaders of the Soviet Union. Born on September 23, 1883, he died on August 25, 1936. Zinoviev played a significant role in the Russian Revolution and the founding of the Soviet Union, serving as a close aide to Lenin.
