Isaac Jogues was a 17th-century martyr known for his dedication to faith. A French Jesuit missionary, he was born on January 10, 1607, and martyred on October 18, 1646. Jogues preached in North America, facing harsh persecution from Native Americans but remained steadfast in his faith.
