Jamie Roberts
Jamie Roberts (born November 8, 1986) is a former Welsh professional rugby union player who played as a centre. Known for his physicality, speed, and tactical intelligence, he earned 94 caps for Wales between 2008 and 2017, winning the 2012 Six Nations Grand Slam. He also represented the British & Irish Lions on the 2013 tour to Australia, playing a key role in the series victory. Roberts played for clubs including Cardiff Blues, Racing 92, Bath, and Harlequins. After retiring in 2021, he qualified as a doctor and became a sports commentator. He is celebrated as one of Wales' finest centres and a role model for combining elite sport with academic achievement.
