Jimmy Hill (July 22, 1928 – December 19, 2015) was an English professional footballer, manager, pundit, and union leader. He is best known for his managerial tenure at Coventry City, where he led the club from lower divisions to the top flight. Hill also served as chairman of the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA), playing a key role in abolishing the maximum wage for players. After retiring from management, he became a prominent BBC football commentator, admired for his insightful and forthright style.
