Joel Klein (born October 25, 1946) is a prominent American lawyer, education reformer, and business executive. He served as the Assistant Attorney General of the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where he led the landmark antitrust case against Microsoft. He later became the Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, implementing significant reforms.
