John Mason Good (May 25, 1764 - January 2, 1827) was an 18th-century British writer known for his historical novels and biographies. He was born in Scotland and studied at the University of Edinburgh, later becoming a doctor. His writing career began with medical papers but quickly shifted to historical novels and biographies.
