
Sergey Brin
Sergey Brin (born August 21, 1973) is an American computer scientist and entrepreneur. He co-founded Google with Larry Page in 1998 while pursuing a PhD at Stanford University. Brin developed the PageRank algorithm, which revolutionized internet search. He served as President of Google's parent company Alphabet until 2019. Brin's work has had a profound impact on information access and technology. He is also known for his philanthropic efforts, particularly in Parkinson's disease research.
