Jon Runyan (born November 27, 1973) is an American former professional football player and politician. He played as an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the Houston Oilers, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Diego Chargers. After retiring from football, he served as a U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 3rd congressional district from 2011 to 2015 as a Republican. He is known for his dual career in sports and politics, particularly his successful NFL tenure and brief congressional service.
