Kato Kiyomasa was a prominent samurai warrior during the late 16th to early 17th century in Japan's Warring States period. Born on July 25, 1561, he died on August 2, 1611. He served under Toyotomi Hideyoshi and was one of the key figures in the Toyotomi clan.
