Kofi Abrefa Busia was a prominent Ghanaian professor, politician, and statesman, playing a significant role in the struggle for Ghana's independence from British colonial rule. Educated in the United Kingdom, he returned to Ghana to contribute to the nation's development. Serving as Prime Minister from 1963 to 1966, he was instrumental in establishing the Fourth Republic. Busia passed away on August 28, 1978.
