Leslie Benzies (born January 17, 1971) is a Scottish video game producer best known for his work on the Grand Theft Auto series at Rockstar North. He joined DMA Design (later Rockstar North) in 1995 and served as producer on Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, San Andreas, IV, and V. Benzies is credited with pioneering the open-world 3D design and narrative integration that made the series a global phenomenon. He left Rockstar in 2016 due to creative differences and later founded the VR game studio Build a Rocket Boy.
