Lilias Trotter was a British artist and missionary, renowned for her watercolor paintings and her work in China. Born on July 14, 1853, she dedicated much of her life to China, where she taught art and established a school for girls. Her paintings, known for their delicate brushwork and vivid colors, are highly valued for their artistic and cultural merit. Trotter passed away on August 28, 1928.
