Lou Whitaker, born on May 12, 1957, is an American professional baseball player. Known for his exceptional defense and consistent hitting, he spent his entire career with the Detroit Tigers. Whitaker was selected to the All-Star Game in 1984 and won the Silver Slugger Award in 1986.
