Haj Amin al-Husseini
Haj Amin al-Husseini, born in 1897 in Palestine, was an influential religious leader. He played a significant role in the Arab world and Palestine in the first half of the 20th century, serving as one of the main leaders of the Palestinian Revolt. Husseini advocated for Arab nationalism, opposed British rule over Palestine, and sought to unite the Arab nations. He fled Palestine during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War and spent the remainder of his life mostly in Egypt.
