Martin Bashir (born January 19, 1963) is a British journalist known for his work at the BBC and ITV. He gained international fame for his controversial 1995 interview with Princess Diana, where she discussed her marriage. Bashir also interviewed Michael Jackson and other celebrities, but his career was later overshadowed by ethical concerns over his interview methods.
