Matthew McGrory (May 17, 1973 – August 9, 2005) was an American actor known for his extraordinary height due to gigantism. Standing at approximately 7 feet 6 inches (2.29 m), he was one of the tallest actors in Hollywood. He is best remembered for his role as the gentle giant Karl in Tim Burton's film Big Fish (2003) and for appearances in the Child's Play series. Despite his towering stature, McGrory was known for his kind and humble personality. His acting career, though brief, left a lasting impression on audiences. He passed away at age 32 due to heart failure related to his condition.
