Nicholas II, full name Nicholas Alexandrovich, was the last Emperor of Russia. He reigned during the Russo-Japanese War and World War I, and was overthrown during the Russian Revolution of 1917. Nicholas II and his family were executed by the Bolsheviks in 1918.
