Qin Shi Huang, also known as Ying Zheng, was a famous monarch in Chinese history and the founding emperor of the Qin Dynasty. In 221 BC, he unified the Six States, ending hundreds of years of the Warring States period and establishing the first multi-ethnic, centralized feudal state in Chinese history. During his reign, Qin Shi Huang implemented a series of reforms, including the unification of measures, currency, and scripts, strengthening central authority, and implementing the prefectural and county system, enhancing the rule over the frontier areas. He also ordered the construction of the Great Wall to repel the invasions of nomadic tribes from the north.
