R. H. Barlow (May 18, 1918 – January 2, 1951) was an American author, poet, editor, and scholar known for his contributions to weird fiction and supernatural literature. He was a close friend and literary executor of H. P. Lovecraft, preserving and publishing Lovecraft's unpublished works. Barlow also wrote short stories and poetry influenced by Lovecraft's cosmic horror themes. Later in life, he became an anthropologist specializing in Mexican archaeology, publishing academic papers on pre-Columbian civilizations. His brief but productive career left a lasting impact on both literature and science.
