Ralph Archbold (January 17, 1942 – March 25, 2017) was an American historical reenactor best known for portraying Benjamin Franklin. For over 40 years, he performed at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, bringing the Founding Father to life for tourists and school groups. He also appeared in numerous TV shows and documentaries, such as 'Good Morning America' and History Channel programs. Archbold's accurate and engaging performances made him an iconic figure in Philadelphia's historical scene.
