Ray Arcel (August 30, 1899 – March 6, 1994) was one of the most legendary boxing trainers in history. Born in New York City to Romanian immigrant parents, Arcel dedicated over 70 years to boxing training and developed numerous world champions, including the legendary Sugar Ray Robinson and Roberto Duran. Known as "the Professor of Boxing," he revolutionized boxing training methodology and established systematic training systems that remain influential today. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame for his exceptional contributions to the sport.
