Reiner Klimke (January 14, 1936 – August 17, 1999) was a legendary German Olympic equestrian, widely regarded as one of the most successful riders in history. Specializing in dressage and eventing, he won six Olympic gold medals and two bronze medals, along with multiple world and European titles. Known for his exceptional horsemanship, deep understanding of horses, and sportsmanship, Klimke represented West Germany and later unified Germany.
