Robert Falcon Scott (June 6, 1868 - March 29, 1912) was a renowned British explorer. He is best known for leading the 1910-1912 British Antarctic Expedition, which aimed to be the first to reach the South Pole. Unfortunately, they arrived a month later than Roald Amundsen's team and all members perished on the return journey due to extreme weather conditions.
