Rocky Anderson (born September 9, 1951) is an American politician and environmental advocate who served two terms as Mayor of Salt Lake City (2000-2008). A progressive Democrat turned third-party candidate, he ran for President as the Green Party nominee in 2008 and founded the Justice Party in 2011, running again for President in 2012. Anderson is known for his advocacy on climate change, human rights, and government reform, making him a prominent voice in American progressive politics.
