Russell Latapy, born August 2, 1968 in Trinidad and Tobago, is one of the most influential footballers from the Caribbean region. Known as "The Little Magician" for his exceptional skill and creativity, Latapy played as an attacking midfielder for clubs including Portsmouth, Aston Villa, and Falkirk. He earned over 80 caps for the Trinidad and Tobago national team, helping them reach the final round of 2006 World Cup qualification for the first time in history. After retiring, Latapy transitioned into coaching, continuing to contribute to Caribbean football development.
