He served as the President of the Republic of China, the Chairman of the National Military Council, the Premier of the Executive Yuan, the General Secretary of the Kuomintang, and the President of the Republic of China. Chiang Kai-shek was a significant figure in the history of modern China, with his political career spanning the 20th century of Chinese history.
