Sara Jeannette Duncan was a Canadian author renowned for her novels and short stories. Born on December 22, 1861, in New Westminster, British Columbia, she spent much of her life in England. Duncan's writing often centered on the experiences of women and the intricacies of human relationships. She is best known for her novel 'The Bond' and her short story collection 'The New Magdalen'.
